It sets ordinary property (homes, apartments, villas, land, renovation projects) beside the island context around it, so a listing can be read against the place it sits in. IsleScout sells nothing and handles no enquiries: you research here, then continue to the original source. It covers Corfu today, with 8 demonstration records.

Every figure on IsleScout comes from these 8 synthetic records, which were written to demonstrate the product. They are not a measurement of the Corfu market. IsleScout is not a broker, does not handle transactions, and does not offer investment, legal, or tax advice.
How IsleScout works

IsleScout is a directory, not an agency. It gives you the structured facts and the island context, then hands you to whoever published the listing.

- CompareRead structured fields, mapped positions, and labelled calculations such as price per square metre against the island sample.

Our standard for useful information
Missing values are omitted rather than shown as zero. Synthetic records are labelled wherever they appear. Price per square metre is the asking price divided by the stored floor area, and every aggregate states its sample size. We do not publish travel times, seasonality, or purchase-cost figures until a source and calculation method support them.
What is close to a property
Distances to the coast, the airport, ferry terminals, shops, pharmacies, clinics, schools, and bus stops are calculated from OpenStreetMap positions (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), read on 2026-08-06. Distance to the coast is measured against the same coastline the maps draw. Every figure is a straight line between two coordinates, never a travel time, and counts are taken within 2 km. Records held at locality or approximate precision are measured from the locality centre, not from a false address, and are rounded to match. A place we do not list is a place OpenStreetMap does not record, which is not the same as a place that does not exist.
Internet and mobile coverage
Not published. Fixed broadband and mobile coverage in Greece have no open, machine-readable source we can cite and re-check, so any figure here would be a guess presented as a fact. It stays off the site until that changes.
Where listing data comes from
Real records will hold factual fields only: price, type, size, condition, locality, and approximate position, with a short summary written by IsleScout from those fields. Original descriptions, source photographs, and agent contact details are never republished here. IsleScout claims no permission, partnership, or verification it does not have.
Leaving for the original listing
A property page shows the source name only. Choosing to view the original opens a confirmation step first. IsleScout does not handle the enquiry and does not verify that a listing is still available.
Requesting removal
Write to contact@islescout.com with the page address. Records are removed on request, with no proof of ownership required and no questions asked, normally within five working days.
Map data
The Corfu coastline is simplified from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Markers are plotted from each record's stored coordinates, and their precision is labelled on every property page.
The beginning
A personal problem became a shared one.
IsleScout began with its owner, who kept running into the same wall while looking for property on the islands they cared about: listings scattered across dozens of sites, island context missing from all of them, and no way to compare one locality against another.
After a summer in Corfu in 2025, that frustration turned into this: find a property, understand the place around it, then go to the source with better questions. Coverage grows only when the current island is properly covered, because a wider map with thinner data would make the comparisons worse, not better.
